Raincliff Scout Camp – Information for hirers
Below is some general information on hiring Raincliff Scout Camp. Firstly - Check if the dates you are looking for are available - go to the 'Bookings Calendar'. This is updated weekly with all new bookings. It is the best place to start. We take bookings up to 18 months in advance. Please note, public holidays, school holidays and weekends book out quickly - some 18 months in advance, so it pays to book early.
Capacity - Our camp site sleeps 44 persons in bunkrooms – Larger groups will need their own tents or caravans (We do not have powered sites).
Hiring the camp - Fees 2026
- Scout & Guide groups, along with School Groups are charged at $10 per person per night.
- All other Bookings are $20 per person per night.
All bookings are for the entire camp as all facilities are shared
- 2-night weekend bookings are from 5pm Friday to 2pm Sunday so include Friday in your dates.
- 1-night weekend bookings are from 8am Saturday to 2pm Sunday.
- A weekday booking is from 8am on the first day to midday on the last day.
- Single day bookings without an overnight are booked as if was one night and is from 8am to 5pm.
Early Arrival or late check out – Subject to availability and may incur and extra part charge. The biggest challenge is allowing time for our volunteers to complete the post hire inspection.
Internet Access/Wi-Fi – There is NO coverage at the Camp – Enjoy an Offline Stay.
Payment of Fees - Deposit of $50 is required to secure booking. Balance payable is based on final numbers, payable within 3 days of end of camp.
Damage: All costs for any damage of equipment or property will be charged.
